The world-famous Che Guevara poster, considered one of the most iconic images in history, was made into an Irish stamp to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Che Guevaras death. I, Jim FitzPatrick, created the original Che Guevara poster in 1968 and it is one of the highlights of my artistic career to see it made into an Irish stamp. As a stamp collector myself it is a real childhood dream come true to have one of my artworks on an Irish stamp but I never thought it would be the Che Guevara image. I couldnt be more proud! This set consists of: 1. The embossed and signed Che Guevara First Day cover complete with Che stamp and a special Che postmark. A mint condition sheet of 16 stamps, complete with the printers register marks on the white surround and signed by me on the base. A special one-off A4 size print of the Che poster on pearlescent paper, signed and embossed by me. Only available with this set.
