2 Artist-designed glass panels (toughened) ideal for wet room / garden screens
These are two very large artist-designed panels (toughened) that would be ideal for either a high-end wet room or as illuminated garden screens. They were originally commissioned for the Freeman’s Quay swimming pool in Durham, and the image shows five of these panels installed at that pool as a privacy screen between the main pool and learner pool (note: the glass appears bluish in the pictures but this is because of the swimming pool – they are actually clear glass). I have two panels spare for sale, as extra panels were made in case any broke in the toughening process. These are highly textured’slumped’ glass, produced by heating a sheet of glass over a textured mould until the glass slumps and takes on the texture of the mould, which in this case is abstracted textures of ferns and other botanical species.
