Height- 8 1/2″ Width- 5″ Length- 9 1/2. I love to sculpt in stone. I carve with a direction or destination in mind, but I’m never really sure what it. Will look like when I get there. I take chances and rely on my instincts. Sometimes I work from a maquette or sketch and many of my smaller works could be versions of much bigger projects. But I really like to wing-it. I get inspired very easily. I’ve been sculpting for 20 years off and on and I must say that marble is my favorite stone. I like the durability. And resistance it offers and also texture. Saint-Marc limestone is a close second, also a quite durable and dense stone. Quarried here in Quebec. Each one of my pieces is very carefully finished. Scraped, sanded and polished completely by hand. I must apologize for the pictures some of them aren’t the best but you will be happy to know that the sculptures. Look much better in person. Also provided is a letter of authenticity for every sculpture that I make and have for sale. A good idea for future reference.
