Let Them Eat Cake, 27.75x34, Original Oil Painting, Signed Art, White Framed
Let Them Eat Cake, 27.75×34, Original Oil Painting, Signed Art, White Frame. I was drawn to oil painting because of the expressive qualities I can create. Communicating my feelings of the moment through paint is my goal. What is going on in the World around us is important to me. The meditative feel of moving paint around a canvas and the therapeutic application of color is what I crave. I’m drawn to impressionist painting, inspired by Post Impressionism. Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville are inspirations. Showing the viewer part of the story and letting them form their own impression is my goal. I intend to infuse humor, story telling, abstract and detail elements in my paintings. Animal and figurative portraits inspire me and give voice to some of the most important emotions of the human condition. Artist working in St. Originally a graphic designer/illustrator.
