This is an original oil painting of a row of red London buses on Westminster Bridge. I was inspired to paint this as part of a body of work entitled’iconic Britain’ and also as an exploration of painting in black and white. This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting measures 20″ x 30″ (50.8 x 76.2 cm).
