This is a Vintage 1990 Artist Proof, pencil signed by Michael Gentry, professionally framed print titled, “White Quiver and Scout”. This print is in very good condition. The print was framed by Quality Image Gallery, Creative Custom Framing in Lake Stevens, Washington. The frame measures 34″ by 28″. The visible print measures about 25 1/2″ by 19″. There is a nice arrowhead framed in the matting. Note there are some holes in the paper on the backside, shown in the last two picture. There are some minor nicks and scratches in the frame. Michael Gentry was an American artist who studied all over the world, but is best known for his beautiful artwork portraying Native Americans from the middle 1800’s. A painter focused on Native American tribes, Michael Gentry is half Cherokee Indian, and has his studio in Washington state. He studied at UCLA and the Laguna Beach School of Art and then traveled the world, sketching and taking photos. He has lived on Indian reservations including the San Carlos Apache, Crow Indian, Tulalip and Blackfoot. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge.
