I hold a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from Fontbonne University. My work explores the quiet poetry of everyday moments, often blending nature, memory, and emotion into textured visual stories. Through oil, I aim to capture not just what we see-but what we feel. A bird perched on a coffee cup, a single sunflower catching light, or a wistful silhouette at dusk-all become vessels for reflection, connection, and imagination. Inspired by the small wonders of life and the layered beauty of the human experience, I paint with an intuitive approach, letting color and form lead the narrative. Each piece invites viewers to pause, lean in, and find a piece of themselves in the scene-whether it’s joy, nostalgia, curiosity, or calm.
