Years later when Peter was creating Cobra ads for Shelby American and had no cars to photograph, hiring George to “create” cars via his artwork was the answer. Those ads became iconic symbols of that era. For years we’ve looked at the incredible art in George’s studio and encouraged him to do something with it. It’s difficult to convey the beauty and details in a photo, but these high quality lithographs, printed on heavy 80 lb archival paper, do the art justice in person. These pieces were made from George’s original watercolor artwork. No additional lithographs will be made. Borders on all artwork are white and. ALL lithographs and posters are signed by the artist, George Bartell.
