The inspiration for this painting came from the simplicity of a single flower – when you have something as beautiful and delicate as a viola, nothing else is required. This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting measures 16″ x 12″ (40.64 x 30.48 cm).
