Bright vibrant colors on a white ground. Hinge has a good patina and the box closes good and tight. The top is very three dimensional. Measures approximately, 2 x 1 ½ x 1 ½. This is a very RARE English Enamel Bonbonniere Toy. It is one of a small series of Trophy boxes made in the 1770s. I have pictured three for reference which can be found on page 82 of English Enamel Boxes by Susan Benjamin.
